IMP Powers has successfully commissioned its pilot 20 KW (4x5kW) Hydro-kinetic Project at Neyveli Lignite Corporation, Tamil Nadu.
It is a Break-Through Technology introduced first time in India by the company which will partly substitute conventional energy sources for sustainable development of country. It is working at more than 75% Plant Load Factor (PLF). The company plans to commercialize/ Indianise this technology shortly.
IMP Powers is a listed transformer manufacturing company and a market leader of up to 400kV class transformers. Smart Hydro Power, a German engineering company having won several awards for its smart products, focuses on providing decentralized energy solutions.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.05, or 4.98%, to trade at Rs 106.40. The total volume of shares traded was 9,155 at the BSE (10.24 a.m., Friday).
