Welspun Corp has been awarded a large order for India, from one of our very prestigious clients in North America for supply of @ 166 KMT of Pipes for an Oil & Gas project.

Additionally, the company has also received orders in Oil & Gas and Water sectors in India.

With the above additions, the company's current order book stands at @ 1,851 KMTs valued at Rs 166.00 billion. 

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Nov. 15, 2018, falling 4.46% compared with the Sensex's 1.13% rise. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 12.17% as against 6.85% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 6.1, or 4.14%, to trade at Rs 153.60. The total volume of shares traded was 136,746 at the BSE (3.26 p.m., Friday).
