Welspun Corp has been awarded a contract for supply of @ 114 K MTs of large diameter pipes for a water project in the MENA Region.

With this addition, the Company's current order book stands at an all-time high of @ 1,605 KMTs valued at @ Rs 102.40 billion. 

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 19, 2018, falling 5.39% compared with the Sensex's 4.57% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 20.21% as against 3.05% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company declined Rs 2.8, or 1.84%, to trade at Rs 149.00. The total volume of shares traded was 32,049 at the BSE (10.05 a.m., Friday).
