Tata Motors group global wholesales up 18% in March 2018

Tata Motors Group global wholesales in March 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 153,156 units, higher by 18%, over March 2017.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors' (Q,N,C,F)* commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in March 2018 were at 56,399 units, higher by 33%, over March 2017.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in March 2018 were at 96,757 units, higher by 11%, compared to March 2017.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 76,221 vehicles (JLR number for March 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 7, 126 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 21 ,048 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 55,173 vehicles.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.7, or 1.04%, to trade at Rs 359.00. The total volume of shares traded was 123,643 at the BSE (10.38 a.m., Thursday).
