Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will hold a meeting of the board of directors of the company on June 15, 2018, to consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares of the company.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Jun. 12, 2018, rising 1.17% compared with the Sensex's 0.44% rise. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 15.38% as against 7.16% rise in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 35, or 1.97%, to trade at Rs 1,816.00. The total volume of shares traded was 189,344 at the BSE (12.02 p.m., Wednesday).
