Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), a producer of automobile wheel rims, has bagged another Exports order from US Truck & Trailer Aftermarket for its Truck Steel wheels plant in Chennai. Order comprises of approx. 9,500 truck Wheels to be shipped from SSWL's Chennai Truck plant in this month. Total order value is USD 425,000.

SSWL is in discussions with other large truck & trailer makers in USA and expects to close some more contracts in this segment in near future.

SSWL expects to increase its presence in high potential Truck & Trailer wheels market in US & EU in the coming months.

Shares of the company declined Rs 30.6, or 2.32%, to trade at Rs 1,288.95. The total volume of shares traded was 2,138 at the BSE (3.19 p.m., Monday).
