Simplex Infrastructures has received an order worth Rs 5.24 billion from NBCC (India) for construction of institutional buildings at Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

The contract is for construction of various buildings for IIT Bhubaneswar at Bhubaneswar and its Extended Campus to be completed within 15 months.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 1,316.70% to 505,678 compared with 22-day average volume of 35,694.

Shares of the company gained Rs 55.1, or 10.56%, to trade at Rs 577.00. The total volume of shares traded was 51,280 at the BSE (11.11 a.m., Tuesday).
