Seamec has entered into a contract for charter hire of vessel 'SEAMEC III' with L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering for undertaking a job in Mumbai High.

The tenure of the contract is for a firm period of 7 days with option for extension. The contract will commence from around June 22, 2017. The value of charter during firm period is Rs 10.1 million.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 97.77% to 1,486 compared with 22-day average volume of 66,679.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.7, or 0.51%, to trade at Rs 137.50. The total volume of shares traded was 797 at the BSE (9.47 a.m., Wednesday).
