Maruti Suzuki India today launched the third generation of its iconic and blockbuster brand-Swift. The allnew Swift comes with a new exciting design, enhanced performance, and advanced pas-senger, pedestrian and child safety.

For the first time, Swift offers the acclaimed auto gear shift technology for the convenience of customers. Built on Suzuki's innovative 5th generation HEARTECT platform, the all-new Swift has a superior power to weight ratio with an improved acceleration performance.

Shares of the company gained Rs 133.9, or 1.5%, to trade at Rs 9,053.80. The total volume of shares traded was 16,390 at the BSE (12.37 p.m., Thursday).
