Maruti Suzuki India, the largest passenger cars maker in India, announced a sold 149,824 units in February 2018, which was 15% higher compared with 130,280 units in February 2017.
The company's domestic sales during the month stood at 137,900 units, compared with 120,735 units in February last year, representing a rise of 14.2%.
The company exported 11,924 vehicles in February 2018, which was 24.9% higher compared with 11,924 units sold in February 2017.
Shares of the company declined Rs 46.8, or 0.53%, to trade at Rs 8,826.35. The total volume of shares traded was 14,090 at the BSE (11.23 a.m., Thursday).
