Maruti Suzuki donates Rs 18.2 mn to Kerala Chief Minister's disaster relief fund

Maruti Suzuki and its employees pray for speedy recovery of those impacted and displaced due to the recent floods in Kerala. Extending solidarity and support to the people of Kerala, employees of Maruti Suzuki donate over Rs 18.2 million, to Kerala Chief Minister's disaster relief fund.

R S Kalsi (Sr Executive Director-Marketing & Sales) and T Hashimoto (Executive Director-Marketing & Sales), handed over the cheque to Hon'ble Minister for Industries and Commerce, Sports and Youth Affairs, Shri. E. P. Jayarajan, on behalf of the employees of Maruti Suzuki.

This contribution is in addition to the Rs 20 million that Maruti Suzuki had donated to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, earlier this month.

Shares of the company declined Rs 2.65, or 0.03%, to trade at Rs 8,871.00. The total volume of shares traded was 8,309 at the BSE (10.40 a.m., Wednesday).
