The construction arm of Larsen a Toubro (L&T) has won orders worth Rs 23.88 billion.
Orders have been secured from the Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit for the execution of Satna, Kundatiya and Mohanpura Multi Village Rural Water Supply Schemes on turnkey basis. The projects are funded by the New Development Bank.
The aggregate scope of work includes design, engineering, supply a erection of 11,272 km of raw and clear water transmission a distribution pipelines, construction of intake wells, 3 water treatment plants with a cumulative capacity of 260 MLD, 1.5 Km of D-shaped tunnel, pump houses, clear water reservoirs, master balancing reservoirs, 129 ML water storage structures with associated electromechanical a instrumentation works and house service connections.
The project involves automation including measurement of input a output water quantity and quality at each level through suitable SCADA a other instrumentation works thus aiming to have unaccounted for water at desired levels. The projects will cover 1,954 villages in Satna and Rajgarh districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Another EPC order has been received from the Tirunelveli Municipal Corporation for providing Underground Sewerage Scheme (UGSS) to additional areas of Tirunelveli Corporation - Phase II. The scope of work includes laying 225 Km of sewer pipelines, construction of RCC manholes, pumping stations, lifting stations and providing sewer connections to 55,000 households.
