JSW Steel, an integrated steel manufacturer, reported crude steel production of 4.12 million tonnes for Q1 FY 2018-19, registering a growth of 5% over the corresponding quarter of FY 2017-18.

The company achieved production of 2.87 million tonnes of flat rolled products and 0.93 million tonnes of long rolled products.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 71.69% to 1,052,996 compared with 22-day average volume of 3,719,250.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.2, or 0.71%, to trade at Rs 311.50. The total volume of shares traded was 45,086 at the BSE (11.40 a.m., Monday).
