JMC Projects (India) has secured new orders / notification of award of Rs 4.51 billion. The company has bagged two residential projects in West and South India totaling Rs 3.42 billion.

It has also bagged an order for construction of academic block from an educational institute of Rs 400 million, while it has bagged an order for civil works for a coal handling plant of Rs 690 million.

JMC Projects (India) is one of the few construction companies certified under ISO 9001:2000 quality management system by TUV Management Services of Germany. The company is mainly engaged in the construction of industrial and residential buildings and also power and infrastructure development projects.

Shares of the company gained Rs 27.3, or 5.94%, to trade at Rs 487.00. The total volume of shares traded was 758 at the BSE (9.36 a.m., Tuesday).
