Jet Airways (India), a provider of domestic and international airline services, commenced a new daily direct international flight linking India's famed tourist destination - Goa, with the national capital of the United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi. Guests travelling from Goa, will now be able to seamlessly connect to Abu Dhabi and to multiple international destinations in Europe, North America, Africa, Middle East and the Gulf, ensuring enhanced global connectivity from India's growing cities.
Jet Airways flight 9W 590 took off from Goa International Airport, Goa at 0515 and arrived in Abu Dhabi at 0735 (UAE local time). The return flight 9W 589 departs Abu Dhabi at 2320 and arrives in Goa at 0415.
Cramer Ball, chief executive officer, Jet Airways, said, ''It is a proud moment for Jet Airways as we launch our maiden international flight from Goa to Abu Dhabi, which is also our 50th daily flight into the Gulf region. Shares of the company declined Rs 5.05, or 1.83%, to trade at Rs 271.10. The total volume of shares traded was 61,605 at the BSE (10.39 a.m., Monday).
