ITC announced that the company on Mar. 10, 2015 issued and allotted 36,43,600 ordinary shares of Rs 1 each, upon exercise of 3,64,360 options by optionees under the company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from Mar. 10, 2015, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 800,92,28,891 divided into 800,92,28,891 Ordinary Shares of Rs 1 each.

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.95, or 2.35%, to settle  at  Rs 346.25.  The total volume of shares traded  was  891,498 at  the BSE (Thursday).
