Hindustan Unilever's subsidiary Pond's Exports (PEL) engaged in the business of manufacturing of leather products, has entered into an agreement with Hindustan Foods for sale of certain movable assets and inventory with respect to the leather business of PEL.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Dec. 15, 2016, rising 2.64% compared with the Sensex's 0.82% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 9.53% as against 6.67% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.95, or 0.24%, to trade at Rs 819.15. The total volume of shares traded was 16,499 at the BSE (11.11 a.m., Friday).
