Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, reported that the company's sales had increased 16.5% to 694,022 units in April 2018. The company's sales in the same month previous year was 595,706 units.
The company said, ''In April 2018, we also created a new benchmark in after-Sales Service with the introduction of an e-commerce portal to retail Hero Genuine Parts and Accessories across the country.''
''With the forecast of a normal monsoon this year and a strong pipeline of new products coming up, Hero MotoCorp is confident of sustaining its growth momentum in the coming months,'' it added.
Shares of the company declined Rs 2.3, or 0.06%, to settle at Rs 3,660.00. The total volume of shares traded was 13,478 at the BSE (Thursday).
