Emami, a leading player in the personal and healthcare consumer products, has commenced commercial production at its newly setup plant in Pacharia, Dolapathar, Kamrup, Assam from February 23, 2017.
The company was last year in October planning to set up cement units in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. In its medium term goals, the company wants to build a cement production capacity of 15-20 million tonnes over the next 3-5 years.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 50.93% to 94,802 compared with 22-day average volume of 193,201.
Shares of the company declined Rs 0.65, or 0.06%, to settle at Rs 1,077.50. The total volume of shares traded was 2,529 at the BSE (Thursday).
