Cyient enters into global alliance with EA Tech

Cyient has entered into a non-exclusive business alliance with EA Technology, an energy technology company headquartered in Chester, United Kingdom. Through this agreement, both the entities will jointly pursue business opportunities globally, by leveraging their complementary skills, technical capabilities, and experience.

The alliance will provide asset management and decision support solutions and services for electric utilities. Under the agreement, Cyient (Q,N,C,F)* will also provide project delivery and implementation services for EA Technology's Asset Investment Management (AIM) software solution.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9, or 1.54%, to trade at Rs 592.55. The total volume of shares traded was 21,813 at the BSE (3.23 p.m., Thursday).
