Coal India (CIL) and Solar Energy corporation of India (SECI) have signed two agreements for implementation of 200 MW-Solar power project in the state of Madhya Pradesh (MP).
''For the beneficial utilization of solar power by Northern coalfields (NCl) 100 MW and south Eastern coalfields (SECL) 100 MW two subsidiaries of coal India each at an estimated cost of Rs 6.50 billion,'' said the company.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.85, or 0.59%, to trade at Rs 313.30.
The total volume of shares traded was 44,527 at the BSE (10.16 a.m., Thursday).
