Canara Bank, the public sector lender, has sold 13.45% stake in Can Fin Homes to Caladium Investment, Singapore, an affiliate of GIC, Singapore's Sovereign Wealth Fund, numbering 35,80,849 equity shares at Rs 2105 per share amounting to Rs 7.54 billion in an off-market deal on March 10, 2017 as part of the monetisation of non-core assets of the Bank.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 39.68% to 1,538,999 compared with 22-day average volume of 2,551,250.
Shares of the bank declined Rs 2.1, or 0.73%, to trade at Rs 284.20. The total volume of shares traded was 137,524 at the BSE (3.47 p.m., Friday).
