Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, announced a rise of 7% in sales to 382,464 units in October 2017 compared to 356,168 units sold in the same period last year.
The company's domestic sales increased to 247,210 units from 238,781 units sold in October 2016.
The company's exports up 15% to 135,254 units in October 2017 from 117,387 units sold in October 2016.
Shares of the company gained Rs 17.55, or 0.54%, to trade at Rs 3,258.05. The total volume of shares traded was 2,971 at the BSE (9.49 a.m., Thursday).
