Ashiana Housing, a real estate developer, announced on Monday that the company has entered into a development agreement with Bengal Shriram Hi Tech City. As per the agreement, the company will develop senior living and regular housing project on a piece of land measuring 19.72 acres situated at Mouza Bhadrakali, Uttarpara Kotrang Municipality, Kolkata, West Bengal.

The entire project will have a total saleable area of approximately 1.8 million sq. ft.

Earlier, the company has joined hands with Chennai's renowned real estate company Arihant Foundation to develop 20 acres senior housing project in Chennai- Ashiana Shubham. An agreement for the same has been signed with Escapade Real Estate, an Arihant Group company and Ashiana Housing.

Shares of the company gained Rs 9.45, or 4.12%, to trade at Rs 239. The total volume of shares traded was 9,425 at the BSE (10.12 a.m., Tuesday).
