Suven Life Sciences announces today that the grant of one product patent from India and one product patent from Japan corresponding to the New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurodegenerative diseases and these Patents are valid through 2027 and 2032 respectively.
The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective 5-HT compounds and are being developed as therapeutic agents and are useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease, Attention deficient hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Huntington’s disease, Parkinson and Schizophrenia.

Shares of the company declined Rs 12.45, or 6.51%, to trade at Rs 178.75. The total volume of shares traded was 79,912 at the BSE (11.59 a.m., Monday).
