GPT Infraprojects has bagged an order worth Rs 1.29 billion from Eastern Railways with a completion period of 24 months.

The company has currently has orders in hand worth Rs 20.89 billion including cumulative order inflow of Rs 6.73 billion in the current financial year.

The order is for construction of new important rail bridge no 340 on Sbu Structure with well foundation and pile foundation and supply, assembly, faricating and launching of open web steel and plate girder over feeder canal between Ahiron and Sujinipara including earthwork in connection with doubling work between Monigram-Nimtita of Eastern Railway.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.85, or 4.61%, to trade at Rs 200.70. The total volume of shares traded was 1,382 at the BSE (11.11 a.m., Wednesday).
