Unitech said its net loss for the quarter ended June 2016 has narrowed to Rs 448.20. During the quarter, the in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 27.91% to Rs 4,878.77 million, compared with Rs 3,814 million for the prior year period.
Total expenses as a percent of revenues decreased to 97.45 percent from 175.06 percent in the same period last year. This has led to an improvement of 7761 basis points in operating margin to 2.55 percent.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at positive 75.06 percent as compared to a negative 75.06 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 124.44 million, compared with an operating loss of Rs 2,862.92 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 0.17 compared with negative Rs 1.07 in the same quarter last year.
