UltraTech Cement announced a marginal rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.07% to Rs 4,269.70 million from Rs 4,142.40 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 4.11% to Rs 60,581.60 million, compared with Rs 58,187 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 17.46 percent as compared to 16.13 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 10,579.90 million, compared with Rs 9383.1 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 15.55, registering 3.05% growth over previous year period.
