Sundaram-Clayton announced a drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 44.51% to Rs 150.00 million from Rs 270.30 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 4.71% to Rs 3,829.10 million, compared with Rs 4,018.40 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 0.80 percent as compared to 1.21 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 30.64 million, compared with Rs 48.74 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.89, registering 58.92% decline over previous year period.
