Sundaram-Clayton announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 30.36% to Rs 57.80 million from Rs 83.00 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 2.32% to Rs 3,429.50 million, compared with Rs 3,352 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 3.71 percent as compared to 4.22 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 127.10 million, compared with Rs 141.6 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.86, registering 30.07% decline over previous year period.
