Sensex ends flat, Nifty settles at 8,940

Indian markets ended flat on Thursday. Both Sensex and Nifty traded above 5-month high. At the close, the 30-share benchmark index, BSE Sensex ended flat with a rise of 28.26 points or 0.10% at 28,892.97, 16 components posting rise. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty went up by 12.60 or 0.14% at 8,939.50 with 24 components registering rise.
