Sensex ends 89 points higher; Nifty settles above 9,100-mark

Indian equities ended higher on Friday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex gained 89.24 or 0.30% at 29,421.40 with 13 components registering rise. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty went up by 21.70 or 0.24% at 9,108.00 with 24 components registering rise.
