Oriental Carbon & Chemicals disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 44.54% to Rs 143.50 million from Rs 99.27 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 6.29% to Rs 721.12 million, compared with Rs 678 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 22.93 percent as compared to 20.80 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 165.35 million, compared with Rs 141.144 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 13.94, registering 44.61% growth over previous year period.
