Jain Irrigation Systems swung to a profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 61.50 million compared with a loss of Rs 230.10 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 4.66% to Rs 14,749.70 million, compared with Rs 14,093 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 12.84 percent as compared to 10.52 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 1,893.50 million, compared with Rs 1482.6 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood at Rs 0.11 compared with negative Rs 0.50 in the same quarter last year.
