Gujarat Apollo Industries disclosed a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 49.67% to Rs 56.21 million from Rs 111.68 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 73.93% to Rs 175.12 million, compared with Rs 671.74 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.43, registering 49.11% decline over previous year period.
