Gillette India disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 41.05% to Rs 519.90 million from Rs 368.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 1.99% to Rs 5,083.80 million, compared with Rs 4,985 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 13.85 percent as compared to 10.99 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 704.30 million, compared with Rs 547.7 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 15.95, registering 41.03% growth over previous year period.
