Andhra Petrochemicals said its net loss for the quarter ended September 2016 has widened to Rs 76.70. It reported a net loss of Rs 49.46 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 47.49% to Rs 567.02 million, compared with Rs 1,079.76 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at negative 17.00 percent as compared to a negative 3.23 percent for the previous year period. Operating loss for the quarter was Rs 96.41 million, compared with an operating loss of Rs 34.88 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 0.90 compared with negative Rs 0.58 in the same quarter last year.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.53, or 3.06%, to settle at Rs 17.85. The total volume of shares traded was 91,289 at the BSE (Wednesday).
