Amarjothi Spinning Mills disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 50.81% to Rs 50.67 million from Rs 33.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 10.88% to Rs 613.21 million, compared with Rs 553 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 198.78 percent as compared to 188.82 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 1,218.91 million, compared with Rs 1044.21 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.51, registering 50.80% growth over previous year period.
