Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone announced a sharp rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2016. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 60.97% to Rs 10,908.10 million from Rs 6,776.40 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 20.73% to Rs 21,830.50 million, compared with Rs 18,081 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 66.49 percent as compared to 65.17 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 14,514.70 million, compared with Rs 11782.8 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.26, registering 60.86% growth over previous year period.
