Aarti Drugs announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 26.99% to Rs 166.10 million from Rs 227.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 1.67% to Rs 2,567.20 million, compared with Rs 2,610.70 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 13.03 percent as compared to 13.82 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 334.40 million, compared with Rs 360.8 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 6.86, registering 27.02% decline over previous year period.
