Varun Beverages got listed on the stock markets on Tuesday with a discount of 3.37% to its issue price. At the NSE, stock opened at Rs 430 a share as against issue price of Rs 445 a share.
Currently, shares are trading at Rs 441, down 0.90% from its issue price. It recorded a high of Rs 444 and a low of Rs 416.85 at the NSE (11.08 am).
Varun Beverages is franchisee of carbonated soft drinks (CSDs) and non-carbonated beverages (NCBs) sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo in India and internationally.
The company also produces and distributes NCBs under the brands of Tropicana Slice; Tropicana Frutz (Lychee, Apple and Mango); and Nimbooz, as well as packaged drinking water under the brand Aquafina. In addition, the company has the franchise for Ole brand of PepsiCo products in Sri Lanka.
