Idea Cellular witnessed a fall in share price on Monday after the company swung to a loss for the quarter ended March 2017. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 3,277 million compared with a profit of Rs 4,517 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 13.75% to Rs 81,945 million, compared with Rs 95,007 million for the prior year period.
Shares of Idea Cellular are trading at Rs 85.00, down Rs 7.3, or 7.91% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 1:54 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 93.25 and low of Rs 84.65. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 206.29% to 30,706,075 compared with 22-day average volume of 10,025,235.
