Monsanto India announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 25.76% to Rs 483.40 million from Rs 651.10 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter declined 27.14% to Rs 1,338.80 million, compared with Rs 1,837.40 million for the prior year period.
