Coal India, an Indian state-controlled coal mining company, has achieved 38.83 million tonnes of coal production for July 2015, which is 97% of target production of 36.04 million tonnes.
For April-July quarter, the company achieved 156.15 million tonnes of coal production, which is 98% of target production of 159.07 million tonnes.
The company and its subsidiaries achieved actual offtake of 40.88 million tonnes in June 2015, which was 93% of the target offtake of 44.17 million tonnes for July 2015.
Similarly, for April-July quarter, the company achieved 170.36 million tonnes of offtake, which is 95% of target offtake of 179.51 million tonnes.
Shares of the company declined Rs 7.2, or 1.64%, to trade at Rs 432.10. The total volume of shares traded was 91,770 at the BSE (12.41 p.m., Monday).
