3M India disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 55.23% to Rs 395.04 million from Rs 254.49 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 12.10% to Rs 5,185.90 million, compared with Rs 4,626 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 11.44 percent as compared to 8.21 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 593.41 million, compared with Rs 380.012 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 35.07, registering 55.25% growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 401.8, or 4.62%, to settle at Rs 9,098.45. The total volume of shares traded was 1,347 at the BSE (Monday).
