Vascon Engineers has received Letter of award (LoA) (subcontract) from Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private, a Domestic Entity for the work of Civil Construction of Affordable Housing in Adoni Municipal Area and Nandyal Municipal Area of Kurnool District in Andhra Pradesh amounting to Rs 2.35 billion. The work has to be completed within 13 months from the date of receipt of work order.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 215.85% to 2,085,572 compared with 22-day average volume of 660,313.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.15, or 14.61%, to trade at Rs 40.40. The total volume of shares traded was 783,213 at the BSE (1.31 p.m., Monday).
