Sangam (India) announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 51.68% to Rs 172.00 million from Rs 113.40 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 2.25% to Rs 3,666.10 million, compared with Rs 3,750.30 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 11.32 percent as compared to 8.52 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 415.10 million, compared with Rs 319.5 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.36, registering 51.39% growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 4.3, or 1.98%, to trade at Rs 212.70. The total volume of shares traded was 63,465 at the BSE (2.59 p.m., Tuesday).
