PTC, today announced the appointment of, Kalyan Sridhar as vice president and country manager for India. In his present role, Sridhar will oversee PTC's overall business in India, and will be responsible for market strategy, growth of the business and leading key partner relationships

Commenting on this new appointment Jamie Pappas, divisional vice president asia pacific at PTC said, "India has always been a major focus area for PTC, and with Sridhar at the helm, we are hoping to scale our India business to greater heights."
 
Commenting on his new role Sridhar said, "I am excited to join PTC which has a long history of technology innovations and is the leader in industrial technology. Shares of the company declined Rs 0.35, or 0.56%, to settle at Rs 61.60. The total volume of shares traded was 110,755 at the BSE (Tuesday).
