MRF disclosed a sharp drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 18.87% to Rs 1,708.70 million from Rs 2,106.10 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 13.51% to Rs 32,989.10 million, compared with Rs 29,064 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 402.87, registering 18.87% decline over previous year period.
