M R F disclosed a marginal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 1.29% to Rs 2,302.20 million from Rs 2,272.80 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 9.36% to Rs 33,369.80 million, compared with Rs 30,515 million for the prior year period.
MRF (Madras Rubber Factory) is an India-based company engaged in manufacturing, distribution and sale of tyres for various kinds of vehicles. The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture of rubber products, such as tyres, tubes, flaps, tread rubber and conveyor belt. It exports to more than 65 countries.
